Jinlai | Domineering CEO Simulator
Jinlai is a interactive fiction made in ChoiceScript. It's entirely text-based and can be played freely in the browser.

You play as jinlai - an heir(ess) to a massive conglomerate in the fictional country of Toswana. Scheming relatives, millions in cold crypto drives, parties with the movie stars, totally legal lobbying of the politicians and everything else that comes with big numbers in your bank account.
- Fight a succession war to gain control of one of the biggest companies in the world - will you remain just as 'wealthy' or will you become filthy rich?
- Invest in companies, manage them, take over. 'Optimize' their workflows, squeeze every penny of profit or be a decent human being.
- Curry favor with the politicians, threaten your competitors, bribe whoever it is you need to bribe. Or, you know, don't. Remaining an upright and honest citizen is always an option.
- Steal your uncle's fiance for a beneficial marriage, date a movie star living next door, seduce your loyal, slightly older bodyguard, get involved with a single mother (your own mother definitely doesn't approve), discover something daunting about your casino-owning loan shark friend or (and) sleep around with a bunch of random people.
All ROs are heterosexual.

I kinda of like this game but It'll be nice if the female mc had more love interests since right now the only one I feel I could romance is the bodyguard...the other one basically called the fmc a slut for wearing something a bit more daring to the club then blamed her for getting harassed saying it's because she dressed like a slut when she wanted to go check on him even though the same thing happen no matter what the mc wear when she decides to dance so no...๐
Maybe I have some problems, I actually loved this guy and this scene in particular

But if you wear the first outfit (I don't remember the name), Lu Tian would instead smile and even he playfully told MC, he can't do it himself when you address his wound.
Sure, but it's still uncomfortable for me. I'm not going to make the mc dress the way he wants just for him not to slut shame her and to romance him. It just feel icky. Besides, he say that he can't do it himself even when the mc wear a daring outfit, it just feel more annoying then since he called her a slut not long ago.

really like the game so far. like the story and premise too.
i have one question: how difficult will it be to reach a good ending/epilogue aka winning the succession? what i mean is; do i (the player) need to be a mastermind/businessman-woman myself and always be 10 steps ahead OR can i reach the "good" ending simply by not choosing obvious bad choices (e.g. make a plan for the next meeting VS be lazy)

Really enjoyed it but found a bug. I played male and female, and I never got the fiancรฉe conversation but suddenly playing F!MC got me the date with heiress (without the call) who called me Mister Ji. I guess, you can't date her as a woman because she wants kids and because of her image? Also, which RO's are bi, gay or hetero here would be interesting.
Or if they all are hetero? I really like the idea with people not accepting your sexuality here because it gives more drama, which I adore, and it feels like there could be lots of interesting things happening because of it. (Making the mother as disappointed with me as possible!)
Also felt like I got more options to fool around as male, but I didn't get the option to flirt with the bodyguard as M!MC but with the F!MC. Casino RO, seemed to be only interested in F!MC too? He's my favorite, I was really hoping for him to be open to both genders, but for him, I wouldn't mind going F!MC here. (Also there seemed to be history with MC because he seemed disappointed in mine? haha)
This reminds me of my guilty pleasure cdramas in the best way ๐

I enjoyed this game! I like how many choices you have to choose from even though it's first chapter. Moreover, the plot is also interesting and refreshing to read. As for LIs, I found Lu Tian intriguing. Hopefully we will see more of him. Looking forward to chapter 2!
